These are the TOP TEN facts you didn't know about dreams.

 We all know that sleeping is the best meditation but sometimes it's not, specially when your dreams are Nightmarish, Eye Opening and Mysterious.



TOP TEN FACTS ABOUT DREAMS!!


1.  Blind People had Dream too.

     Do you know that Blind People also have dreams? People who where born blind have dreams too, but instead of images they dreamed only with sounds. They still dream but they just involve other senses beside sense of sight.


2.  You always Dream but you cannot remember most of it.

      Do you know that you always have a dream but you can't just remember it? Many people claim that they don't dream at all, that's not true. Do you know that 60% of people cannot remember their dreams at all. Just 40% of us only remembers that they dreamed.


3Animals dream too.

     Do you know that animals have dreams too? Lots of animals have their dreams too, You can determine if their dreaming because you can see them moving and sometimes making noises. Like the gif's I prepared for you down there so CUTE and ADORABLE :D

4.  Dream Drug

      Do you know that there are some people who like to dream? They want to dream a lot that they do not want to wake up. They want to continue their dream even during the daytime, so they take illegal drugs called Dimethyltryptamine this drug is so extremely hallucinogenic, this drug is a kind of chemical that our brain produce when we are sleeping.

5.  REM Sleep Disorder

      Do you know that REM ( rapid-eye-movement ) is a stage of your sleep that your body is normally paralyzed characterized by rapid periodic twitching movements of the eye muscles and other physiological changes, such as accelerated respiration and heart rate, increased brain activity and muscle relaxation.


6.  Sleep Paralysis

    Do you know that sleep paralysis is real and it's the stuff of true nightmares. The inability to move and a sense of an extremely evil presence in the room that makes you don't want to go back to bed. Studies show that during this attacks, sleep paralysis show an overwhelming amygdala activity. Amygdala is responsible for the "flight or fight" instinct and it doesn't feel like a dream, instead 100% real.


7. Sleepwalking Disorder.

      Do you know that sleepwalking is a very rare but dangerous sleep disorder? Sleepwalking, formally known as somnambulism, is a behavior disorder that originates during deep sleep and results in walking or performing other complex behaviors while asleep. It is much more common in children than adults and is more likely to occur if a person is sleep deprived. Because a sleepwalker typically remains in deep sleep throughout the episode, he or she may be difficult to awaken and will probably not remember the sleepwalking incident.

9.  Lucid Dreaming

      Do you know that Lucid dreaming is any dream in which one is aware that he/she is dreaming? Some subculture of people are practicing conscious dreaming using their techniques, other said they can control their dreams and they can do amazing things like flying, traveling to different dimensions or back in time, and some can pass through walls. Think how amazing is this one right?

10.  Premonition Dreams

     Do you know that premonition dreams are dreams that actually happen to them later? Their dreams are happening exact same way they dreamed about, do they just have glimpse of the future, or it might be just coincidence?

Example of Premonition:
    A little girl named Eryl Mai Jones foretold her own death with her classmate in Aberfan, Wales in October, 1966. She told her mother that she wasn't afraid to die because she will be with Peter and June. Days later on October 20, 1966 she describe her dream that there is a black substance covered her school.

       The next day October 21, 1966, coal waste broke and covered the school, Jones died and was buried next to her classmates June & Peter.
